Port Police Identify Truck Accident Victim

GALVESTON, TX (Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024) – Authorities have identified the body recovered from a submerged vehicle in Galveston Harbor as Cameron Sharman, a 32-year-old La Marque man. The body was recovered Friday from the cab of a 1999 Dodge Ram pickup truck that port security video shows driving from Pier 20 into the water at 2:14 a.m. Friday. GALVESTON, TX (Friday, Dec. 27, 2024) – Port of Galveston police have located a pickup truck that they believe was driven into Galveston Harbor at Pier 20 at 2:14 a.m. Friday, Dec. 27.
