The Galveston Wharves will host an open house on Dec. 19 to share information and gather public comments about major cruise, cargo and transportation projects. The meeting will be 4-6 p.m. at Cruise Terminal 28, 2702 Harborside Dr.
Attendees will be invited to talk with port staff about various projects, including the proposed $142 million cruise terminal complex at Pier 16, the $50.1 million West Port Cargo Complex improvement project, the port’s internal roadway, the 25th Street skywalk renovation and the more than $50 million project to renovate and improve Cruise Terminal 25.
Visitors will enter the port at 23rd Street and turn left to drive to Cruise Terminal 28. Free parking and refreshments will be provided.
