The Galveston Wharves is launching a redesigned website on June 17. The streamlined site is developed to improve the user experience for our wide range of users, including cruise parking customers, ship crew members, port tenants, prospective bidders, potential employees, history buffs, and anyone with general interest in the Galveston Wharves.
Our current website has served us well for more than a decade. The updated website (www.portofgalveston.com) will feature a clean, modern design with intuitive navigation to make it easier for users to find the information they need—whether they’re reserving cruise parking, looking for cruise information, exploring port career opportunities, checking Wharves Board meeting dates, or accessing financial and bid documents.
Our goal was to create a more efficient, informative and welcoming experience for everyone who interacts with the port. This new platform reflects our commitment to transparency, accessibility, and customer service as we continue to grow and serve the Galveston and maritime communities.
The streamlined site delivers intuitive navigation, a powerful new search function, and easily accessible resources for business and community engagement. Among the most notable improvements are fillable online forms, reducing paperwork and response times, and enhanced mobile compatibility, making it easier to interact with the port from any device.
What hasn’t changed is the parking reservation system, but users will find more information to help them plan their cruise from Galveston. The Cruise and Parking section includes a detailed arrival and departure guide, a help center, a cruise blog, port maps and cruise and parking FAQs.

At the top of every page, you’ll find links to our separate Port of Galveston 200th Anniversary website with information about events and port history.
