STEP 1
Read the Manual
A. Download and read the Ground Transportation Manual. Click HERE
B. Read and understand the rules & regulations to operate on port property.
C. Understand permit & use fees.
STEP 2
Read the Manual
A. Complete the online form to initiate permit process HERE
B. Complete ALL sections
C. Submit COI (Certificate of Insurance)
D. Submit authorized driver information
E. Submit vehicle fleet information
F. Submit fleet Images (one per vehicle)
* NOTICE – Ground transportation area is a gated restricted area. Must submit toll tag or purchase toll tags from Port of Galveston.
* NOTICE – Allow port staff 3-5 business days to review. Port staff will communicate with your deposit and fees that are due.
STEP 4
Pay Deposit & Fees
A. Submit payment to Port of Galveston
B. Pick up decals & toll tags (if applicable)
STEP 5
Ready to Go!
A. You may now operate within the ground transportation designated areas.
B. Please follow all ground transportation manual rules and regulations.
