Is it necessary to change/modify/update vehicle information on a reservation if I am bringing a different vehicle? Cruise & Parking

No, it is not necessary. Please bring a copy of your reservation with QR code and you will be scanned in with that.

Do you have a customer service department? Cruise & Parking

Yes, we are the only cruise parking operation to offer a dedicated Customer Service Team 7 days a week from 8AM to 5PM.  Call us at 409-766-6163 or Email us.

Is there security at your lot? Cruise & Parking

Our lots are monitored 24/7 by the Port of Galveston Police Department.

Am I able to use my disabled veteran discount for more than one vehicle? Cruise & Parking

No, the discount may only be used on one reservation for the disabled veteran at a time, not for additional vehicles in your group.

Am I able to reserve a handicap parking spot? Cruise & Parking

We are unable to offer reserved ADA spaces ahead of time, but provide a number of ADA spaces in each parking facility (including a number of van accessible ADA spaces), on a first come, first serve basis.

Why is my reservation not showing up in my Loyalty Rewards account profile? Cruise & Parking

Typically, because it was made outside of your Loyalty Rewards account. Email us so we can assist.

Do you offer refunds for denied boarding? Cruise & Parking

We do not offer refunds for denied boarding.

What is your cancellation policy? Cruise & Parking

Cancellations to a reservation can be made 24 hours PRIOR to 9AM on your reservation’s departure date. All cancellations will be subject to a $10 cancellation fee; cancellations can be processed at the portofgalveston.com website by using the MODIFY/CANCEL link. No cancellations will be permitted within 24Hrs of your reservation’s departure date.

Can I cancel my parking reservation and have it credited to a reservation for my next cruise? Cruise & Parking

Unfortunately, we do not offer any parking credits for future cruises. Once you cancel your reservation, you will have to make another one for your next cruise.

How far in advance can we reserve our parking? Cruise & Parking

We usually make Galveston cruise parking reservations available within 18 months of the sailing date.

Are shuttles free? Cruise & Parking

At lots that offer shuttle service, the shuttle service is complementary. However, some Port of Galveston lots are within walking distance of the cruise terminals and do not provide a shuttle.

Do the lots at Cruise Terminal 10 come with shuttles? Cruise & Parking

Yes, Cruise Terminal 10 has shuttle service to the North, South and Pier 14 lots. No Shuttle service is provided to the North Premium and Pier 10 lots as they are within a short walking distance to the terminal.

Can I park my RV there? Cruise & Parking

Yes, we accommodate RVs in our economy lots, however, depending on the length of your vehicle, you may have to purchase a minimum of two parking spaces. Email us your request.

Am I able to book multiple reservations at once? Cruise & Parking

No, you must book each reservation separately.

Does the economy lot have free shuttle service? Cruise & Parking

Yes, our economy includes complimentary shuttle service.

Do we have to pay in advance or can we pay when we get there? Cruise & Parking

Reservations are strongly suggested to secure your Port of Galveston cruise parking before arrival. If you do not reserve parking ahead of time and there is available parking in the lot when you arrive, we will accept payment and you can park. Only credit cards are accepted for payment.

Do shuttles accommodate wheelchairs/scooters? Cruise & Parking

Yes, we have many shuttles in our fleet that are ADA-equipped to assist with wheelchairs/scooters transport.

Are we able to drop off our luggage at the terminal prior to parking? Cruise & Parking

Yes, you can drop off your luggage at the terminal before you park.

How often do the shuttles run? Cruise & Parking

About every 5-7 minutes. It can also be sooner.

What is the size of your parking space? I have a large truck. Cruise & Parking

Most of our spaces are a standard 9 feet by 19 feet.

What is the height clearance for the SMP garage? Cruise & Parking

It is 6 feet, 8 inches.

What time does the lot open for operation? Cruise & Parking

Our facilities open for operation at 9 a.m. on most sailing days. When a ship disembarkation is delayed the cruise line will notify you and parking will open later than usual.
