Loyalty Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
The following are the terms and conditions of a legal agreement between you and The Port of Galveston, a utility of the City of Galveston (“PORT”). By enrolling in the Travel Agent VIP Loyalty Rewards Program on this website (the “Website”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the “TA VIP Loyalty Rewards Program Terms and Conditions”) as well as the Website’s more general Terms and Conditions of Use (the “General Terms and Conditions”), and you agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations with respect to the Loyalty Rewards Program.
If You Do Not Agree To The Travel Agent VIP Loyalty Rewards Program Terms and Conditions And The General Terms and Conditions, Then Do Not Register To The Loyalty Rewards Program.
The Travel Agent CIP Loyalty Rewards Program Terms and Conditions govern solely your participation in the Loyalty Rewards Program, and are in addition to the General Terms and Conditions.
- Eligibility for membership in the TA VIP Loyalty Rewards Program. Any Travel Agent or Travel Advisor who is at least 18 years of age is eligible for membership in the Travel Agent VIP Loyalty Rewards Program. By enrolling to the TA VIP Loyalty Rewards Program, you certify that you meet these requirements. If you do not meet these requirements, you may not participate in the Loyalty Rewards Program.
- Registration of Loyalty Rewards Program. By enrolling your TA VIP Loyalty Rewards Program on the Website and completing the submission form, you automatically become a TA VIP of and participant in The TA VIP Loyalty Rewards Program and acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Loyalty Rewards Program Terms and Conditions and this Website’s General Terms and Conditions. Failure to provide all requested information of the submission form or provide inaccurate information will result in not being granted access into the TA VIP Loyalty Rewards Program..
- Accumulation of Loyalty Rewards Program. As a TA VIP, you will accumulate Loyalty Rewards Points each time you purchase a parking reservation using your Online Reservations Program at www.Portofgalveston.com. In each such case, you will receive One (1) Loyalty Rewards Point for every dollar spent on parking, excluding all taxes, fees, and any other fees not directly attributable to parking. For purposes of awarding Loyalty Rewards Points, all parking dollars spent will be rounded to the nearest dollar. Points may only be accumulated by booking/reserving your parking via our online reservation portal. Paying at the gate upon arrival are not subject to accumulation of Loyalty Rewards Points and no points will be awarded. Booking parking outside of the TA VIP Loyalty Rewards Program will not accrue points. Points will not be credited for past bookings prior to becoming a TA VIP Member.
- Redemption. You may redeem Loyalty Rewards Points via the PORT’s online reservations Portal at any time that the PORT’s reservation portal is active, if you continue to be an “Active” TA VIP and your account has sufficient Loyalty Rewards Points for the requested booking. Each 10 Loyalty Rewards Points may be redeemed for One ($1.00) Dollar Discount in an Eligible Parking Reservation Product. Not all Parking Products are eligible for points redemption. The PORT will determine which Parking Reservation Products will be eligible for Loyalty Rewards Points Redemption.
- No Transferability of Loyalty Rewards Program. Loyalty Rewards Points can only be redeemed by the enrolled TA VIP member. Points will not be transferred to another person or different credentials if existing credentials are lost/stolen or otherwise not accessible.
- Expiration of Loyalty Rewards Program. A TA VIP Loyalty Rewards Program account that remains inactive for 12 months will be deactivated and all accumulated points will be lost. An inactive account is an account that is not used to create a booking during a period of 12 months. Once the account is expired, any accumulated points in the account will no longer be accessible or useable.
- Modification or Cancellation of Loyalty Rewards Program. The PORT reserves the right to modify or cancel Loyalty Rewards Points at any time and from time to time, without notice. Such modification may include, without limitation, changes in the terms and conditions for the award of Loyalty Rewards points, and changes in the terms and conditions for the redemption of Loyalty Rewards Program.
- Expulsion from Travel Agent VIP Loyalty Rewards Program. TA VIP Members may be expelled from The Loyalty Rewards Program for any violation of the Loyalty Rewards Program Terms and Conditions. Such violations may include, but are not limited to the following:
- attempting to give someone else your member points to use;
- bartering or selling your Loyalty Rewards Points
- Ownership of Loyalty Rewards Program. Your Loyalty Rewards Points, always, remain the property of The Port of Galveston.
- Trademarks. All trademarks, service marks and trade names used on this Website in connection with TA VIP Loyalty Rewards Program or otherwise are proprietary to The PORT or other respective owners that have granted the PORT the right and license to use such trademarks, service marks and trade names, and are protected by U.S. and international trademark laws. No user of this Website or participant in TA VIP Loyalty Rewards Program is granted any rights to such trademarks, service marks or trade names.
