2023-014 RFP for Internet and Phone Services
Sealed proposals, an original and five copies, Internet and Phone Services, for the Port of Galveston, Galveston, Texas will be received at the main office of the Port of Galveston (Galveston Wharves), 123 25th Street (Shearn Moody Plaza), 8th Floor, Galveston, Texas 77550 until 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 13th, 2023, and then publicly opened and read aloud in the Board room of Shearn Moody Plaza.
The Port is seeking proposals from firms capable of delivering a turn-key package to install, administer and run internet and telephone services for the Port’s property and network.
Information on obtaining bid packages can be found in the Business section under Bids at www.portofgalveston.com.
Questions shall be e-mailed to by Friday, September 29th, 2023, at 2:00PM.
Proposals shall be submitted in sealed packages in the manner requested within the RFP document. Sealed envelopes shall be marked in the lower left-hand corner as follows:

The Board of Trustees of the Galveston Wharves will award this bid to the bidder who provides the requested goods or services at the best value for the Port, which will include an analysis of the following criteria: purchase price, reputation of the bidder and of the bidder’s goods or services, the quality of the bidder’s goods or services, the extent to which the goods or services meet the Port’s needs, the bidder’s past relationship with the Port, the impact on the ability of the Port to comply with laws and rules relating to historically underutilized businesses and non-profit organizations employing persons with disabilities, and the total long term cost to the Port to acquire the bidder’s goods or services. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all of the bids, in whole or in part, and to accept the bid or bids, in whole or in part, for any reason or to negotiate with any and all bidders and waive any informality in bids received.
Bidder(s) may withdraw their bid, either personally or by written request, at any time prior to the scheduled time for the bid opening. The Galveston Wharves may hold the bids for 60 days after the date set for the opening without making a decision and the bidder(s) may not withdraw their bid(s) within that time.
