1. Giveaway Period
Start Date: Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 9:00 AM Central Standard Time (CST).
End Date: Thursday , April 30, 2026, at 12:00 PM (Noon) CST. The Sponsor’s (Port of Galveston Cruise Parking) designated clock will be the official timekeeper for this Giveaway.
2. Eligibility
Age: Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Residency: Must be a legal resident of the United States.
Exclusions: Employees of the Port of Galveston and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
Platform: This giveaway is only run on the official Port of Galveston Cruise Parking Facebook Page.
3. How to Enter
To be officially entered into the Giveaway (one entry per person), participants must complete the following mandatory steps on the official Port of Galveston Facebook Giveaway post during the Giveaway Period:
* Be a Port of Galveston Loyalty Rewards Member with active Email Address & Facebook Follower
* Like the official Port of Galveston Cruise Parking Giveaway post.
* Comment your favorite thing to buy from Walmart before your cruise.
Note: Only the comment on the post will be tracked for the random draw. Entrants do not need to share the post or tag friends to enter, though it is appreciated!
4. Prize Details
One (1) Winner will be selected to receive the following prize package:
One (1) $250 Walmart Gift Card (Perfect for stocking up on cruise essentials or spring snacks!).
Port of Galveston Swag (Exact items determined by the Sponsor).
Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $250 + value of swag.
Prize Terms: The gift card is subject to the terms and conditions of the issuer (Walmart). No substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent of the prize is permitted, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. The winner is responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes.
5. Winner Selection and Notification
Selection: One (1) potential winner will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries (comments) received during the Giveaway Period.
Notification: Potential winners will be notified via email that is associated with their Loyalty Rewards Account. We will also reply and/or a Facebook Direct Message from the official Port of Galveston Cruise Parking Facebook Page shortly after the closing date.
Claiming Prize: Winners must respond and claim their prize within three (3) days of initial contact. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture, and an alternate winner may be selected.
6. Important Safety and Privacy Notice
NEVER Share Personal Information: The Port of Galveston will NEVER ask for credit card numbers, bank details, or social security numbers to claim a prize.
Beware of Scammers: Be wary of fraudulent profiles. You will only be contacted by the official, verified Port of Galveston Cruise Parking Facebook Page.
Report Suspicious Activity: Please flag any suspicious comments or messages posing as the Port of Galveston immediately.
