Pelican Bridge Alert

Pelican Island Bridge construction that resulted in the evening and night closure schedule has concluded, and the bridge will return to a normal operating schedule effective today.

The use of traffic signals related to one-way traffic will continue for the next three months, while the bridge undergoes painting and minor repairs. To facilitate traffic flow to Pelican Island in the mornings and evening, flagmen will be in place from 7:30 – 8:00 am for all northbound traffic, and from 4:30 – 5:30 pm for all southbound traffic. Please plan accordingly and continue to obey the traffic signals and laws. Thank you for your consideration.
